Our Story
"There has to be a better way to treat people in recruitment."
After more than 10 years working in ICT and government recruitment, our founder Priya Menon kept seeing the same things:
- Candidates being treated like numbers
- Clients drowning in process but still not getting the right people
- Great people being overlooked because of their accent, career breaks, visa history, or non-traditional paths
Priya is a migrant, a working mum, multilingual, and has spent most of her career working with NSW Government and public sector clients. She has sat with hiring managers under pressure, and she has listened to candidates who were exhausted by broken processes and poor communication.
This lived experience means Prima is deliberate about inclusive shortlisting, transparent communication, and designing recruitment processes that work for real people, not just ideal CVs.
Prima was created in 2025 to do things differently.
