Why We Exist

PRIMA Recruitment & Consultancy was founded to challenge the limitations of volume-driven recruitment.

After more than 15 years across government and enterprise ICT recruitment, it became clear that too many hiring processes prioritised speed over fit, and volume over accountability.

PRIMA was built to provide a more disciplined, transparent and delivery-focused approach, particularly in regulated and high-accountability environments where hiring decisions carry real operational impact.

As a director-led business, we work closely with clients to deliver targeted shortlists, structured communication, and recruitment processes grounded in quality, judgement and long-term fit.

Priya Menon Gillett
Founder & Director

Priya Menon Gillett is the Founder and Director of PRIMA Recruitment & Consultancy Pty Ltd, a Sydney-based ICT recruitment and workforce advisory firm supporting government and enterprise organisations.

With more than 15 years of experience across government and enterprise technology recruitment, Priya specialises in ICT, cyber security, digital, cloud and workforce advisory recruitment within regulated and high-accountability environments.

Ayaz Ameer Shaikh
Principal Consultant, Recruitment, Workforce Advisory & Training

Ayaz Ameer Shaikh is a senior recruitment and workforce advisory consultant with more than 20 years of experience supporting public sector, enterprise and community workforce programs across Australia, APAC and the Middle East.

His experience includes recruitment delivery, stakeholder engagement, workforce readiness training, behavioural interviewing and capability development across regulated and high-volume environments.

In addition to recruitment delivery, we provide workforce and talent advisory support to help organisations clarify role requirements, plan capability uplift and optimise recruitment processes.

PRIMA is an approved supplier under NSW Government Scheme 0005 – the Standard Commercial Framework (P&MS) and delivers services aligned to established commercial, governance and value-for-money principles.

In addition, PRIMA has active applications under assessment for other NSW Government and Commonwealth Government panels, as part of our planned expansion across public-sector procurement frameworks.

While PRIMA is government-ready, we are not government-only. We apply the same disciplined, compliant and structured approach when partnering with private-sector organisations, particularly those operating in technology-led or risk-sensitive environments.
